David Earl Burbank's Obituary
David Burbank 3/30/44-8/12/18
David Burbank was born March 30,1944 in Topeka, Kansas, and passed away in his home August 12. He graduated from West High School in Waterloo, Iowa in 1962. He served in the USAF 1962-1966 as a jet engine mechanic. After the military he began his career as an airline mechanic with Continental Airlines for 15 years. He then worked in construction for several years. In 2003 he began working at the Wauna Mill where he retired in 2010.
Dave enjoyed classic cars, photography and many outdoor activities, which he shared with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Warren, and was a Gideon for many years. He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Judy, brother Keith of Des Moines, IA, daughter Teresa Best, and two sons James and John, eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held August 25 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Warren. Visitation is Friday, August 24 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens. Donations in his memory can be made to Gideons International.
