I would like to say a few words on the behalf of my ex husband and the father of my children. He was a good man with a good heart and love for others. We were married for almost 10 years, they were the best years of my life, granted towards the end we both played into outside influences and bad judgement that ended in our divorce resulting in my decisions that I thought were the best at the time. But going back to that time in my life we were best friends, we did everything together and truly enjoyed each others company. He was a good and loving father and husband. He was a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family, parents, brothers, sisters, and friends. Good times and good memories! He was a hard worker and put everything into what he did. He was funny, considerate, loving, thoughtful, and so much more. He deserved so much more than what has happened. It is a shock and so unexpected. I never imagined this, him not being around. I just needed to say something about David, I do not want any more regrets before Saturday, because I don't know if I will be able to express my thoughts and I do not want to keep them in. We remained friends even after the divorce, we would still talk and we co- parented our children, even if they are now fully grown. We always worked together in trying to help our children in their lives the best we could. Now I am left with this huge responsibilty and I do not take it lightly, I will do right by their father. This is what he would want. Everytime I look at our children I will see you David. Thank you for being their father. You did an amazing job and you will be missed!!!
Kye & Jack,
Sorry to hear of your sons passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Reta Thomas
