David Byron Stevens' Obituary
David B. Stevens, age 50, died unexpectedly on February 12th, 2022, in St. Helens. David was born August 27, 1971, in Appleton, Wisconsin, the son of Michael and Betty (Eckert) Stevens. He managed to have a fulfilling life that he lived on his own terms; this included traveling to all 48 contiguous states in a passion orchid VW van where he made many friends. David worked a variety of jobs over the years to support his travels. His favorite location and the one to which he kept returning was near the ocean in the Hawaiian Islands.
He is survived by his parents, a brother, Thomas (Tess) of Madison, Wisconsin, a wonderful nephew Ben. David is further survived by his loving partner, Angela Blumhoefer. Funeral arrangements will be cremation followed by burial in his great-great grandmother's cemetery in Ramsey, Illinois. He will be well remembered and missed by many.
