I was shocked to say the least. I had just spoke to Dayton. We had talked about when he met Bev. He said it was like God sent him an Angel. If you didn't get to know Dayton. You missed out. He never complained. He had a Big Smile that followed him where ever he was went. I will definitely miss Dayton stopping in the office every month. God Bless You Dayton, your home with your Angel.
what a great person Dayton was. I enjoyed being involved with both Dayton and Bev as well as their boys during the years in Boy Scout Troop 294. We camped many times as a troop at the coast or winter lodge on mount hood. Dayton was at every scout function , celebration, food drive, car wash, fund raisers, camp outs, camp o rees, summer camp monthly leaders meetings, parents meetings, board of reviews, eagle projects and the list could go on much more. I am so blessed to have met and served with Dayton as I am sure so many others are.
