Dean A. Vawser was born on December 7, 1936 in Okreek, S. Dakota to Arthur & Thelma Butterfield
Vawser.
He died at a Veterans Nursing Facility in Vancouver, WA. on May 23, 2004 at the age of 67.
He was educated in S. Dakota moving to Scappoose in '46 until present. He graduated from Scappoose Hi in '54.
He was in the Coast Guard for 20 years. Worked for United Finance from '77-'82, then a clerk for the Lake Oswego Post Office, retiring in 1996.
He was married to Ruth in Hoquiem, WA. in 1967.
His interest included: computer games, geneology, crosswork puzzles, the beach, his Koi fish and classmates.com.
Survivors include: Wife: Ruth Vawser of Scappoose, OR.; Children: Richard Vawser of Hillsboro, OR.; Jackie Vawser Bluhm of Columbia City, OR.; Deanna Vawser and Brian Wood of Hillsboro, OR.; Siblings: Glenn Vawser of Saratoga, Wyoming, Delores Gedlick of Cove, OR.; Glenda Heimuller of Warren, OR.; Darlene Mullican of Scappoose, OR.; Gladys Miken of Lake Oswego, OR.; 2 grandchildren.
Graveside service & Vault interment: Fairview Cemetery: Scappoose, OR.; Saturday June 12, 2004 at 1:00 PM
