Deanna Lee Ragan's Obituary
Deanna Lee Ragan was born on August 13, 1938 in Pueblo, CO. to Carl & Esther Mae Kintsfather Peters.
She died at foster care home in St. Helens on April 17, 2006 at the age of 67.
Her family moved to Portland in 1943, she graduated from Hi school in 1956. She met Loren Ragan in 1959 and they were married in 1960. They moved to Scappoose in 1976.
As a young adult Dee was a professional tap dancer with the Claydetts. She worked with such great as Harry Belefante' and the Ink Spots. She worked for 35 years as a teachers assistant for the Portland public schools. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. All of her time and energy was spent either attending programs or a sporting event.
Survivors include: Husband: Loren Ragan; Children: Mike Ragan & Lorrie Burns all of Scappoose; Tim Ragan of St. Helens; Sister: Florence Youngren; 9 grandchildren: Jennie, Ryan, Luke Wohlemuth; Karlie, Cooper, Nate, Holden, T.J. & Hannah Ragan; Preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jackie.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, Apri 22, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens
Private entombment: Skyline Memorial Gardens-Portland, Oregon.
