Debbra Sue Ross' Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be held, 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 9th at the family's home, 601 E. Columbia River Highway, Clatskanie, Oregon. Debbra Sue Ross passed away July 1st at St. Helens, Oregon, she was 59 years of age.
Debbra Sue Ross was born November 6, 1951 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Murvin and Betty Vonn White. She attended school in Neahakanie, moved to Astoria in 1967, graduated Astoria High School in 1970. She married Robert Ross Jr., October 2nd of the same year. After having a hunting honeymoon in Eastern Oregon, they made their way to Georgia where he was stationed in the military. Later divorcing, she moved to California, marrying Kenneth Graxiola before becoming widowed. Moving back to Astoria she then re-married her soul mate in life Robert Ross, Jr. In1984. She was a member of Trinity / Peace Lutheran Church.
She was a housewife, mother and friend. She enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing and traveling. Some of her many hobbies included drawing, making walking sticks and photography. Debbie loved life, but most of all, her family.
Survivors include her husband; Robert Ross, Jr., Children; Johnathan Graxiola-Ross of Astoria, Tammy Ross-Zillman of Clatskanie, Tiffany Ross of Fremont, California, Robin Ross of Aloha, Sheree Ross of San Jose, California, Sisters; Diane Staben of Manzanita, Cassandra Utzinger of Astoria, Mother; Betty Hansen of Carlton, 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and her beloved feline companion Bootsie.
Remembrances can be made in her name to MS Society of Oregon or OHSU Brain Institute of Portland, Oregon.
