Debra Louise Harrell's Obituary
Debra Harrell of St. Helens, Oregon passed away January 3, 2025 at the age of 70. She was born July 12, 1954 in Portland, Oregon to Richard and Helen Harrell. Debra grew up and attended school in Portland, graduating with the class of 1972 from Cleveland High. In 1981 she relocated to Columbia County where she lived in Clatskanie for a few years before settling in St. Helens in 1987. She worked as a legal secretary for 13 years at Olson & Horn before retiring in 2000.
Debra was a member of Warren Community Fellowship, she loved Bible studies and teaching Awanas. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Debra was a kind, loving and incredibly sweet mom, sister and friend. She had a quick wit and loved to laugh. Her steadfast love for the Lord gave her joy and strength. She enjoyed sharing God’s word to everyone she loved.
She is survived by her children; Josh (Sara) Harrell, Nicholas Smith, and Kalinda (Josh) Carnahan. Her grandchildren; Noah, Eliana, Helen, James, Tanner, and Katie. Her siblings; Stephen Harrell, Michael Harrell, Jeffrey Harrell, and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Helen Harrell.
A celebration of life will be held at Warren Community Fellowship on January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
