Delores Katherine Hobizal March 27, 1933 ~ December 15, 2016
Delores passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2016. She was born March 27, 1933 in Astoria, Oregon to Ruth and Jesse L. Bower.
She met and married Frank Hobizal, while working at the box plant, under the Sauvie Island Bridge. They were married on July 19, 1958 in Scappoose, where they built a home and raised four children.
Delores worked in manufacturing for Tektronix and Nike until her retirement from Nike in 1995. After her retirement, she continued to stay busy within the community.
She enjoyed cultivating roses, lilies and orchids, painting still life, sketching and was a marvelous chef. She loved spending time with her family, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Frank Hobizal and is survived by their four children and their spouses; Kathleen Fisher of Scappoose, Debra and Jim Westcott of Sandy, Frank and Joyce Hobizal Jr. of Scappoose, and Marie Hobizal of Scappoose. Delores leaves nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
