Delores "Dee" Nickelson's Obituary
Delores “Dee” Fern Nickelson, age 82 of St. Helens, entered into the arms of the Lord on Dec. 3, 2013 at the Prestige Health Care Facility in Camas, WA. She was born in Delta, CO on Mar. 30, 1931 to Paul V. and Velma Z. Miller. She was married to Ralph A. Nickelson on Aug. 19, 1950.
Delores was active in the local Jr. Women’s Club and the PTA. Her hobbies included knitting, reading, word search puzzles and crafting. She also enjoyed camping, travel, antique shopping and especially enjoyed going to casinos to win…which she did!
She is survived by her husband, Ralph and her children: Sandra (Bella) Nickelson of Hazel Dell, WA, Bonnie Kay Webberley of Camas, WA, David Ralph Nickelson of Creswell, OR, Terri Lynne Nickelson-Williams of St. Helens and Cathie Ann Scrivner of St. Helens. She has 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Marian Pearson of Burney, CA, Pauline Stedman of MacArthur, CA and Billie Parker of Burney, CA.
She is interred at Columbia Memorial Gardens, Scappoose.
