I had so many memories of Dennis because I use to be a volunteer fireman for St.helens Fire department. The very first time I got to meet him was at station 3 when the fire department had this water tanker that they were browning and it needed a good wax job and I got in trouble so i had to due comity service up there and Dennis was a Lt up there and he made me wax it all by myself. He was a big part of my life when I was growing up and he took me under his wing and tought me how to be a volunteer fireman and he was there when I was going through AA. He was there when I needed someone to help me stop drinking and showed me there was more out life then drinking. He also was a great chief at the fire department. He showed me how to a volunteer fireman and his door was always open if you need advice. He took time to show me how to due stuff. I remember the first time I got to go out on a fire it was my first time to ride on a fire truck and he told me take the hydrant and report to him and he showed me a lot about the fre service. He was a great guy and I going to miss him. RIP Dennis and now he up there with his wife Judy and up there with my dad.
