Dennis J. Marceaux's Obituary
Dennis J. Marceaux was born on December 31, 1946 in McMinnville, Oregon to Essie & Bertha Mendenhall Marceaux.
He died at a Portland Hospital on November 5, 2007 at the age of 60.
He was educated in Sheridan, Oregon thru his junior year and moved to Scappoose in 1964 where he graduated in 1965, living here until present.
He married Karen Phelps in St. Helens on 9/9/1972 at the First Christian Church.
He was a Evidence Control Technician for the Portland Police. He was a Scappoose volunteer fireman for 30 years, assistant division chief and 5 years on the board of directors. He was on the Scappoose City Council and a member of the Scappoose Lions Club.
His special interests included being a Christian man, the fire department, movies and fishing.
Survivors include: Parents: Essie & Bertha Marceaux; Wife: Karen Marceaux; Daughter: Jamie Marceaux both of Scappoose; Siblings & spouses: Terry & Janice Marceaux of Troutdale, OR.; Larry & Sue Marceaux of Bend, OR.; Deanna & Derrell Roeder of Scappoose; Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Service: Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2:00 PM at First Christian Church-St. Helens
Committal service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose.
