In Loving Memory of Dennis Morgan
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Morgan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a unique soul who touched the lives of so many. Dennis passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and wisdom that will be cherished forever.
Dennis was known for his warmth, wit, and boundless curiosity. He could light up any room with his quick smile and endless stories. A lover of music, adventure, and the strange, wonderful journey of life, Dennis embraced every moment with an infectious zest. He was a dedicated family man who found his greatest joy in his wife, daughters, and the close circle of friends he called family. He was also proud of his knife-sharpening business, Grateful Edge Sharpening, where he shared his skill and passion with others.
Dennis often reminded us to “stay sharp” and “stay spaced out,” encouraging us to live life with a full heart and an open mind. His words and his spirit will remain with us always. Though we’re heartbroken to say goodbye, we’re comforted knowing he’s now on a new adventure.
Per his wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, we invite friends and family to join us in a celebration of Dennis’s life at a later date, with details to be shared soon.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Marian; his daughters, Michele (Aaron) Benard, Kelly (Ryan) Svenson, and Cassidy (Erik) Whitfield; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Laurie; and his two dogs, Stella and Owsley.
