Diane Elaine Bauer's Obituary
Diane Elaine Bauer passed away on Aug 8th 2018 after a hard fought battle with cancer and has been laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Scappoose, OR. Diane’s life and experiences will live on in the many lives she has touched over the last 60 years. Those who knew her describe her as strong, caring, steadfast and unbearably happy with a smile and a laugh that continues to lift all of us up with its memory. These descriptions are not describing Diane’s attitude, but more-so Diane herself. She would always put others first and would even help people to the detriment of herself. She loved to crochet and made blankets for every new baby born into our family and for many of her daughter’s friends babies born. Her love for her family and friends was only eclipsed by her love for God. When Diane wasn’t going out of her way to help others you could often find her spreading the word of god in service of the church. Diane’s un-wavering positivity and love for those around her was not only contagious but also sets a bar that the rest of us will continue to strive for. The loss of Diane is not just a loss for her family but truly a loss for humanity. It’s safe to say that with Diane’s passing, the world got a little less nice. The world and our community is truly less without her in it.
