Donald Dean Matthews' Obituary
Donald Dean Matthews was born on March 11, 1957 in Vandalia, Illinois to Dean & Thelma Darlan Matthews.
He died on May 23, 2011 at his home in Portland at the age of 54.
Donald was educated in Illinois and was one in a family of 13. He moved to Oregon as a young man living in the area most of his life until moving to Portland in 2008.
He married Debra Housley on June 21, 1986 at the Beaver Homes Grange Hall.
Donald had worked as a welder for Oregon Steel Company.
Survivors include: Wife: Debra Matthews; 5 Children: Rachel, Travis & Seana Matthews, Katie Hamilton, Robin Tice; Siblings: Mike, Gary, Larry, Roger, Charles, Deanna, Judy, Bev & Elsie; 7 grandchildren.
Memorial service: Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Beaver Homes Grange Hall at 1:00 PM
