Donald G. Beard's Obituary
Donald G. Beard was born on December 10, 1933 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Henry & Ethel Bigsby Beard.
He died at his home in Scappoose on February 3, 2010 at the age of 76.
He attended schools in Hillsboro, was in the Army from '56 to '58. He married Mary Jane Lange in Portland on December 28, 1957. They lived in Boring prior to moving to Scappoose 7 years ago.
He worked in security at the Port of Portland for 20+ years retiring in 1999.
His interests included fishing, hunting, gardening, yardwork and his grandkids.
Survivors include: Wife: Mary Jane Beard of Scappoose; 3 Children: Tina Fitzpatrick of Clackamas; Sherri Aaberge of Scappoose; Ron Beard of Happy Valley, OR.; Siblings: Walt & Roy Beard both of Bend; Russ Beard & Inez Bowman both of Yuma, AZ.; Gladys Abernathy of Pumpkin Ridge, OR.; Sharon Messing of Keizer, OR.; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandaughter.
Private Family Graveside & Vault interment: Fairview Cemetery-Scappoose, Oregon. Monday, 2/8/10 at 2:00 PM
