Donald G. Powell June 7, 1944 ~ January 10, 2018
Donald G. Powell passed away at home January 10, 2018 at the age of 73. Donald was born June 7, 1944 in Portland, Oregon.
Donald graduated from Roosevelt High School, and then in 1967 he joined the Army, where he was a medic at the hospital in Warzburg, Germany.
He lived in St. John’s most of his life until moving to Scappoose in 2008. Donald worked primarily at Graphic Packaging. When not working Donald, loved photography and working on cars. He was also a member of the St. John’s Baptist Church.
Donald is survived by his sisters, Dorothy McDonald of Brush Prairie, Washington, Betty Parker of Portland, Oregon, Londa Ward of Scappoose, Oregon, Caroline Clark of Liberal, Missouri and Sandy McClure of West Monroe, Louisiana. As well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Donald is to be interred at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
