Donald Sterling Livesay's Obituary
Donald Sterling Livesay was born on August 15, 1929 in Portland, Oregon to Virgil & Dorothy Meyers Livesay.
He died at a hospice center in Longview, WA. on October 12, 2009 at the age of 80.
He attended and graduated high school in Portland in 1947. attended and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1951, Seminary school in San Francisco, CA. in 1954. He pastored for 4 years in Sandy, OR.; and in Lebanon, Oregon for 10 years.
He was married to Jaqueline for 17 years they divorced and he married Ruth and they also were married for 17 years.
He lived in varius communities in Oregon and his last with his family in Deer Island for the past 5 years.
He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in St. John's. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include: Children: Dana Livesay of Wauiganui, New Zealand; Gary Livesay of Eugene, OR.; Jennifer Hunt of Portland, OR.; Marta Read of Deer Island, OR.; Siblings: Jim Livesay of Wilsonville, OR.; Barbara Livesay of Hillsboro, OR.; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
