Donald W. Majeske's Obituary
Donald W. Majeske was born on November 10, 1945 in Pendleton, OR. to Eugene & Alice Marshall Majeske.
He died at Good Samaritan Hospital on November 11, 2006 from complications of cancer at the age of 61.
He graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove with a degree in Elementary Education and taught his entire 30 year career at McBride Elementary School in St. Helens. He retired at the close of the 1999 school year. Throughout his teaching career he touched many lives.
He married Shirley Corliss on February 26, 1989 in St. Helens.
He had a great love for Civil War history and spent much time reenacting battles with the Rockbridge Artillery. He and his grandson Jeffrey Wright participated together.
Survivors include: Wife: Shirley; daughters: Cheryl Wright and Jennifer Warner all of St. Helens; Father: Gene Majeske; Sister: Deb Robb; both of Lexington, OR.; Sister: Ginger O'Brien of Heppner, OR.; several nieces and 1 nephew, 1 great nephew. He was preceded by his mother: Alice Majeske.

Funeral Service: Friday, November 17, 2006 at 2:00 PM at First Lutheran Church-St. Helens
Committal service & vault interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
