Donald Wayne Butcher Jr.'s Obituary
Donald Wayne Butcher Jr. 74 of Scappoose, died Monday Dec. 24 at Columbia Care Center in Scappoose.
Donald was born the son of Donald Sr. And Alice Patterson Butcher on May 2, 1938 in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in Portland, Scappoose, and St. Helens and was a 1956 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Portland.
Don was a truck driver and operated Butcher Trucking Co. with his father for many years. At the age of 60 he was diagnosed with parkinsons disease and retired from trucking.
Donald is survived by his father Donald Wayne Butcher Sr. of St. Helens, a sister Frances Moss of Estacada and by one son.
Private interment will be held at Columbia Memorial Gardens. Arrangments are under the direction of Columbia Funeral Home and Cremation Center of St. Helens.
