Donna Rae Houser's Obituary
Donna Rae Houser was born on July 20, 1938 in Keizer, Oregon to John & Vivian Adams Minty.
She died in Scappoose on June 2, 2006 at the age of 67.
She attended the Salem/Keizer elementary schools before graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1957.
Mrs. Houser traveled extensively with her husband, Ken for six years prior to calling Scappoose their home in 1964.
While in Scappoose she was a homemaker, secretary for the local telephone company and retired from the Scappoose School District. She servied as a 4-H leader, volunteered her time in Girl Scouts, was a baton twirling chaperone during parades, involved herself in the PTA, coaching girls softball and participated in bowling leagues. Her main hobby was reading, but loved to crochet and play pinochle.
She was preceded in death by her father John, along with brothers Ray & Vernon.
Survivors include: Husband: Ken of 49 years; 3 daughters & thier husbands: Terrie & Mike Link of Gresham; Dawn & Mark Trotman of Merrill, OR.; Jodi & Rick Roth of Rainier; Mother; Vivian Mindty of Hillsboro; Brother: Keith Minty of Las Vegas, NV. Donna was the proud grandmother of Amber, Jennifer, Nick, Mathew and Becca as well as the student body from Scappoose Middle School during her years as the school secretary.
She would have loved her great- grandson Carston. She also had a special bond with her numerous nieces & nephews.

Private family committal service & vault interment: Valley Memorial Park-Hillsboro, OR.
