Doris Effie Mattson's Obituary
Doris was born on January 7, 1947 in Coos Bay, Oregon to Harold and Gladys Miller Fish. She died in Rainier, Oregon on December 30, 2009 at the age of 62.
Doris was a hard worker all her life. She was a bartender and cook in many Oregon restaurants including the Grey Hound Bus Station. Her last employment was with RGIS where she worked as an inventory specialist until her health failed.
Doris loved to cook "for an army" and bake. Her family will always fondly remember the smell of baking bread in the kitchen. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
She is survived by 5 sons: William Arnold Wheeler Jr., Nile Wheeler, Roger Wheeler, Brad Wheeler, and Jay Johnson; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and a special cousin Loyd Fish.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.columbiafh.com
