Doris Isabel Floeter Weber's Obituary
Doris Floeter Weber, age 91, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2019. Doris was a great friend and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and recent great great grandmother. Doris was a devout Christian so while we grieve her passing, we can rejoice that she is with her lord.
Doris was born as Doris Isabel Graham on September 29, 1927 to parents Fred and Grace Graham in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Doris lived her entire adult life in the Vernonia and Scappoose areas. She loved flowers and gardening and was an avid collector of dolls, glassware and plates. She loved hunting for treasures at garage sales and she also spent many years as owner and operator of Dory’s Restaurant in Scappoose. Doris was loved by many and she will be cherished forever in the hearts of all her family and friends.
Doris is survived by her brother Robert Graham, children Cherlyn Newcomer (Michael), Susan Remsen and Walter Floeter (Susan) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris’s husbands preceded her in death as did her daughter, Laura Young.
Donations can be made in Doris’s memory to the Oregon Chapter of the Alzheimers Association or Bayview Cemetery in St. Helens, OR.
