Dorothy Ann (Arneson) McKean December 5, 1936 ~ December 15, 2016
On December 15, 2016, our mother born Dorothy Ann Arneson McKean went to heaven to be with her husband who predeceased her in 2012. She was born in Fargo, North Dakota December 5, 1936.
As a teen, her family moved to Portland, Oregon. It was there she met her husband Raymond and they were married 55 years. They spent 40 years in Warren, Oregon.
Dorothy was also predeceased by her parents Robert Arneson and Clara (Hammertad) Arneson, baby sister Gloria Lemke, and sister Virginia Wittkopp.
She is survived by her daughter Tammy McKean of Spokane, Washington, her son's TC McKean of St. Helens, Oregon & Lance McKean of Warren, Oregon.
The family is eternally grateful to Lance for living with & caring for both Ray & Dorothy for the last 14 years.
She is also survived by her brother Del Arneson, & her sister Belva Grindberg, her grandson LeLand Collings of Spokane, Washington. She has a great Granddaughter Apryl, great grandsons Joseph & Andy-Lee of Spokane, Washington.
Dorothy has left her family with the memories of what a mother should be to all her children. We all consider ourselves very fortunate that Dorothy & Ray truly loved each other.
Dorothy specified no Services & asks in lieu of flowers that you make a donation to your local Humane Society in Dorothy's name.
She will be forever loved and greatly missed.
