Dorothy M. Jacobs' Obituary
Dorothy M. Jacobs was born on June 2, 1919 in Seattle, WA. to Martin & Harriet Mills Aydt.
She died at a Portland hospital on February 5, 2008 at the age of 88.
She was the third of six children, out living all of her siblings.
She married Clifford V. Jacobs in Snoqualmie Falls, WA. on June 6, 1937, he preceded her in death in 1982.
She lived and worked in the St. Helens area at a variety of jobs for the past 55 years, retiring from St. Helens Cafe Jays after 15 years in 1995. She loved making crafts for her family and friends, she also made beaded ornaments & crocheted doilies.
Survivors include: Children: Raymond of St. Helens; Michael of Okarche, OK.; Kathleen Anderson of Bagley, MN.; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Clifford; 2 sons; Leo & Ralph, 3 grandchildren: Diana, James & Donald and her siblings.
Funeral Service: Monday, February 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Funeral Home
Committal service & interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
