Dorothy Marie Caniparoli's Obituary
Dorothy "Dot" Marie Caniparoli was born on October 28, 1919 in Seattle, Washington to Olaf & Marie Forsgren Bergen.
As a toddler, she moved with her family to Warren, Oregon. She attended the Bachelor Flat Grade School and was a 1937 graduate of St. Helens High School. She also attended secretarial business college.
In 1942 she married Henry Caniparoli in San Diego where he was in the Navy. They moved back up to Oregon, and eventually on to Palmer, Alaska, where her husband could find employment. During their time in Alaska, Dot worked as a school secretary. After 10 years, they moved back to the St. Helens area, and Dot stayed home to take care of their two children. She also became a very active member in St. Frederic Catholic Church.
Survivors include: Son, Dave Caniparoli Sally of Warren; Daughter, Gloria Folta Roger of St. Helens; 4 grandchildren; Jeff Caniparoli of Milwaukie, OR; Cheryl DeClercque of Sandy, OR; Doug Caniparoli of Portland; and Melissa Scath of St. Helens; and 3 great grandchildren: Evan, Killian & Dreyden.
Recitation of the Rosary: 10:00 AM
Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM both Friday, 11/23/07 at St. Frederic Catholic Church
Private interment: St Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
