Dwayne William Adams' Obituary
Dwayne "Bill" W. Adams was born on September 17, 1941 in Seattle, WA. to Dwayne & Maxine Stocking Adams.
He died on May 3, 2007 in Ontario, Oregon at the age of 65.
He was educated in Seattle, went on into the Navy and retired with the Air Force, serving from '59-'79.
He lived in Brooking, Oregon prior to moving to St. Helens in 1997. He married Annie Cameron on 8/1/04 in Reno, Nevada.
He was very active in the Masonic Lodges both in Brooking and St. Helens. He was the past Grand High Priest of the Royal Arch of Masons, life member of the Eastern Star and the Amaranth, Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star Lodges #127 & #32. Life member of the Shrine and the Blue Lodge, Grand commander of the Knight Templar of Oregon, Past President of the Masonic College, life member of the VFW and Disabled American Veterans. He was a history buff of the Templar Knights.
Survivors include: Wife Annie Cameron Adams of St. Helens; 2 Daughters: one of Pennsylvania and the other of S. Carolina; Stepchildren: Michael Blunk of St. Helens; Dottie Perales of Platonia, TX.; Brenda Flaherty of Bernie, TX.; Sister: Dale Ann Williams of Port Angeles, WA.; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by 3 sisters: Dea Jacobsen, Frankie Albertson, Nancy Holsinger.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, 5/12/07 at 7:00 PM at the St Helens Masonic Lodge.
Committal service & interment: Friday, 5/18/07 at 3:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, OR.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disables American Veterans Special Olympics.
