Dwight E. LaMont's Obituary
Retired US Navy Captain Dwight LaMont died on April 21st, 2018.
Captain LaMont was born on October 21st, 1949 in Forest Grove Oregon to Dave and Anne LaMont. In 1968 he enlisted in the US Navy. He was selected for Chief Petty Officer in 1977.
In 1979 he applied for and was accepted as a Limited Duty Officer. Captain LaMont's decorations and awards include: four Meritorious Service Medals, four Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. He served his country for 37 years.
He loved fishing, camping, travel, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Pamela, son Brett his wife Janet and their two children Trent and Taylor, daughter Nicole her husband Eric.
