Dwight - Wallace's Obituary
Dwight Wallace was born on September 23, 1921 in Springfield, Missouri to E.W. & Emma Rector Wallace.
He died at a hospice care center in Portland on May 27, 2010 at the age of 88.
He was educated in Springfield, Missouri and went into the Navy in WWII from 1942 to 1946. On June 14, 1946 he married Sylvia Starrett in Coquille, OR.
They lived there where he worked at Crawley Maritime for 20 years and retired as Chief Engineer for a tug boat in 1983. That same year they moved to Warren, OR. and then Scappoose for the past 10 years.
He enjoyed fishing and his family.
Survivors include: Wife: Lucy Wallace of Scappoose; Daughter: Sylvia Boreson of Fredricksburg, VA.; Son; Gary Wallace of Ava, Missouri; Sister: Lena Nichols of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Private interment: Masonic Cemetery-Coquille, OR.
