Edith May Trotter's Obituary
Edith May Trotter was born on July 27, 1923 in Islay, Alberta, Canada to Ernest & Henrietta Isert Spitzer.
She died at a St. Helens care center on June 30, 2008 at the age of 84.
Edith was educated in Canada and in Kelso, WA. thru the 6th grade when she dropped out. She was living in Clatskanie in 1939 and in 1942 she married Orville also in Clatskanie, OR. He preceded her in death in 1980.
For a short few months during the war she worked at a bakery but for the most part was a homemaker to thier 3 children. She didn't really have any special interests but she was a really good neighbor.
Survivors include her children: Cory Trotter Theresa of Clatskanie; Gwen Timberlake of Hillsboro; Lon Trotter Cheryl of Tillamook; Siblings: Henrietta Johnson of Clatskanie; Louise Francen of Tillamook; Kathleen Siltala of Rainier; Bill Spitzer of Ridgefield, WA.; Ernie Spitzer of Woodland, CA.; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside service & interment: Woodbine Cemetery-Rainier, OR. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10:00 AM.
