Edward Clarence Chamberlain's Obituary
Edward Clarence Chamberlain was born on September 7, 1919 in Fargo, North Dakota to Edward and Bessie Pardue Chamberlain. He was the youngest of 7 children.
He died at a Lincoln City Care Center on June 23, 2012 at the age of 92.
Edward moved to Portland where he was educated and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1937. He married Bertha B. Shipman in 1940 in Portland. She preceded him in death in 2008.
In 1964 he went to Bible College and then they moved to a church in Shelton, Washington from 1968-1972. They were also missionaries in Ethiopia for 3 years. They lived in Scappoose for 10 years, then Beaverton, and Lincoln City for the past 4 years.
He semi-retired in 2008.
His enjoyments included reading, piloting, auto mechanic tinkering, and hospital/senior ministries.
Survivors include: Paul Chamberlain of Tacoma, WA.; Connie Kaye of Banks, OR.; Charlotte Thun of Vancouver, WA.; Betty Selby of Lincoln City, OR.; 13 Grandchildren; Numerous Great-Grandchildren.
