Edward L. McDonald's Obituary
Edward L. McDonald was born on April 22, 1929 in Laramie, Wyoming to Robert & Alice Harnden McDonald.
He died at a Portland hospital on January 5, 2005 at the age of 75.
He attended schools in St. Maries, Idaho and college at Clark Community College in Vancouver, WA.
He lived in Wenatchee, WA. then moving to the Kelso/Longview area. he moved to St. Helens in October of 2004 from Michigan.
He married Beth McDonald on December 30, 1985 in Kelso, WA.
He had a number of occupations. A chef, policeman, timberman, morticians assistant and his last occupation was a truck driver, retiring in 1984. He was a jack of all trades.
He was a member of the Catholic denomination, Knights of Columbus. Enjoyed food and cooking.
Survivors include: Wife-Beth McDonald; Sons: Michael McDonald of Hawaii; Sean McDonald of Portland; Step-son: Roy Hamilton of St. Helens; Step-daughters: Margaret Barroso of Battle Creek MI.; Barbara Wing of Wenatchee, WA.; Linda Sapp of E. Wenatchee, WA.; 2 brothers: Larry McDonald of Cottage Grove, Gene McDonald of Salem, OR.; Sister: Christine Sims of Gresham, OR.; 11 grandchildren: 4 great grandsons.
Memorial service: Sat. 1/15/05 at 384 S. 15th St. St. Helens, OR.
