Edward Roscoe Beisley's Obituary
Edward Beisley, 68 of Scappoose died October 8, 2008 in Eastern, Oreogn. He was born April 14, 1940 in Vinita, Oklahoma.
Edward graduated from Scappoose High School in 1957 and worked for Boise Cascade for 35 years retiring in 1995 as a machine tender. He served in the National Guard. He had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time at his cabin on his property in Imnaha. He was also an avid reader. After he retired he loved to sit outdoors and watch birds, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Beisley Garver, married July 30, 1984; his daughters, Kim Strang and Yvonne Puff Theissen; brothers, James and Kenny Beisley; sisters, Shirley, Ernestine, Ermadene and Mary; stepchildren, Ron, Tyrone, Briggette, and Kathy.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral with private inurnment at Columbia Memorial Gardens.
