Elaine Orpha Johnson's Obituary
Elaine Johnson of St. Helens, Oregon died on February 27, 2019at the age of 85. She was born March 12, 1933 in Leeds, North Dakota to Peter Olof and Austa (Hauman) Erie. Elaine held many jobs she helped on the dairy farm, she worked for Nabisco and Meyer and Frank she also helped her husband John operate St. Helens Golf Course.
At a young age she was confirmed as a Lutheran and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. Elaine enjoyed fishing, quilting, crocheting and as a member of the Women’s Golf League she loved to golf. She was also a collector of fine china sets and spoons.
She is survived by her sons David and Don Johnson and her sister Patricia Julian. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband John Gordon Johnson.
