Elaine Shipman's Obituary
Elaine Shipman, 92, passed away on May 8, 2026.
Born on July 26, 1933, in Battle Ground, Kathryn was the daughter of David Watson and Evelyn Greene. She grew up alongside her sister, Leah Kaiser, and her brother, David Watson, who preceded her in death.
Kathryn was married to Glenn Shipman, who also preceded her in death. Together they built a family that remained the center of her life.
She is survived by her children: Kathy Broyles, Lynda Molzan, and Caroline Shipman. She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Shipman.
Kathryn was a devoted grandmother to Deanna VanLaer, John Valleur, Eddie Meany, and Jennifer Valleur, and was blessed with five great-grandchildren who brought her much joy.
For many years, Kathryn worked in Membership Accounting at Kaiser Permanente, where she was known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Kathryn will be remembered for her love of family, her caring nature, and the many lives she touched throughout her years.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Warren Community Fellowship in Warren.
Her memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
