Eldine Joanne Anderson (Bozich) passed away in her home surround by family on January 27th at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Anderson in November of 1972. She was born in Portland Oregon on May 12t Read Obituary
Elaine was my first grade teacher and a family friend. Mom (Alice Duncan) did a lot with Elaine through church and outside of church. One year my dad built a swimming pool for her in her back yard. For me Elaine will dearly be missed. I loved her.
I remember Eldine from Grant Watts Grade school, very nice lady, always had a smile. My condolences to the family.

She will be missed. I still remember when I was learning to write and Mrs. Anderson and another teacher compared my writing. They asked how come your writing looks so much better for Mrs Anderson. I responded in typical elementary school logic. My hand gets tired and Mrs Anderson is tougher on me about it. I have great memories of her. She will be missed.
I was saddened to hear about Eldine's passing. She was an outstanding teacher and one of the best human beings I've had the honor of knowing and working with. She taught 10-plus years at Scappoose High School and 22 Grant Watts Elementary. With her on staff, there was never a dull moment. At Grant Watts she dubbed herself the "principal of vice" and that she was. But it was the kind of vice that made our jobs more fun to do, gave us a laugh and never anything more than a little inappropriate. I love the photo to the left. It captures her smile and the twinkle in her eyes that all of us who worked with her saw everyday. We also saw her faith, enviable and strong, quietly lived out in all she did. To all her former students and colleagues...remember to "color between the lines". RIP, "El Dingaling". You were unforgettable and much loved!
