Betty will be missed by many. She was a woman who attended to "detail" in so many jobs including Mayor and County Clerk. She worked closely with my husband when he was employed by Columbia County! She was truly a woman of integrity.

Betty was a treasure to Columbia County andto all who knew her. I got to know her as a fellow elected official, and I will not forget her genuine passion for her job and the people she served. She was always kind and supportive, and took a genuine interest in others. It was her signature on my certificates of election, but it was the imprint of a life well-lived that has its most lasting effect on my thoughts. Godspeed, Betty! You are missed.
