Elizabeth May Carver Lusk, King's Obituary
Elizabeth May Carver Lusk, King was born on December 27, 1948 in St. Helens, Oregon to Dale & Myrtle Newman Lusk.
She died at her home in Portland on May 3, 2010 at the age of 61.
Elizabeth attended St. Helens schools thru grade 7, then Rainier schools, graduating in 1967.
She married Randy Lyle "Chief" King, divorcing and marrying Russell Carver also ending in divorce.
Elizabeth lived in Columbia County from 1948 to 1982, lived in Portland for 10 years, in California for a time until moving back to the Northwest in 1999 until present.
She was a Christian, did volunteer work to NAMI National Association Mental Illness. Her interests included: Laughter and having a good time, her grandchildren; cooking, reading, music and movies.
Elizabeth worked as an M.R.I. Technician in the Medical field.
Survivors include: Son: Brandon King of Tigard; Daughter: Mary Lusk of Portland; 3 Siblings: Virginia Souza of Palmer, Alaska; Mike Lusk of Port Orchard, WA.; Patti Lusk of Camas, WA.; 4 grandchildren; various family members in the N.W.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the St. Helens Senior Center. Family asks to come dressed in Joyous Colors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society or to a Charity of Ones Choice.
