Ellen E. Lowe's Obituary
Ellen E. Lowe was born on December 13, 1916 in Goble, OR. to Rudy & Mina Blake Anliker.
She died at Community Home, Health & Hospice Center in Longview, WA. at the age of 88.
She attended High school in Rainer, graduating in 1934, attended Oregon College of Education & Linfield College graduating in 1938. She taught 2nd grade at Warren, St. Helens and Rainier schools.
She & Jim were married in 1934, he preceded her in death on 11/14/97.
She belonged to the Eastern Star, St. Helens & Rainier Garden Club & Rhodedendron Club, Beaver Valley Grange for 57 years. She was also a 4H leader for 20 years.
She was the clerk of the Rainier Cemetery, Fire & Hudson School District.
She enjoyed her flowers which she shared with hospitals, weddings, funerals and her neighbors.
She also enjoyed gardening and she loved to fish & dig for clams.
Survived by: Sons & Daughter-in-laws: Jerry & Doreen Lowe of Westport, WA.; Jim & Linda Lowe; John & Rhonda Lowe both of Castle Rock, WA.; Sisters: Doris Stenneck of Rainier, OR.; Mildred Zimmer of Clatskanie, OR.; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM in Rainier, OR.
Committal Service & Vault Interment: Woodbine Cemetery-Rainer, OR.
