Emeterio A. Paradero's Obituary
Emeterio “Emie” A. Paradero, 64 years old from Saint Helens, Oregon succumbed to cancer at the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on January 16, 2020.
Emie is survived by his wife Editha of 43 years, son Glenn and his wife Grace, daughters Charlyn, Jojie and Michelle and her husband Gary Miller, parents Ariston and Maria Paradero, sister Joy and her husband Tres Donaire and many loving grandchildren and extended family. Emie was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
Emie was born and raised in the Philippines. He came over to US on 2018 to proceed with his cancer treatments and was living with his daughter Michelle who also took care of him until his last breath.
Emie loved sports, especially boxing and basketball. He enjoyed singing, dancing and listening to upbeat music. He loves to do gardening when it’s nice out. Emie was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects.
Columbia Funeral Home took care of Emie’s remains and is helping to get it ready to be shipped back home where he was born and raised, Philippines. Funeral and Burial services will be held in his hometown, San Fernando Cebu Philippines.
