Emil O. Kantor's Obituary
Emil O. Kantor was born on January 9, 1920 in Washkish, MN. to Joseph & Emma Foyt Kantor.
He died in Vancouver, WA. on July 7, 2004 at the age of 84.
He was educated in Minnesota, went into the Air Force from '41 to '66.
He married Dorothy on January 12, 1944 in International Falls, MN. They moved to St. Helens in August of 1966 living here until present.
He worked as an instrumentation engineer for Boise Cascade for 40 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church in St. Helens. He enjoyed playing poker and bridge, enjoyed the out-of-doors, hunting and fishing.
Survived by: Wife: Dorothy Kantor of St. Helens; Marilyn Peterson of St. Helens; Dennis Kantor of Medford, OR.; Colin Kantor of Dallas, TX. David Kantor of Houston, TX.; Siblings: Helen Enger of Hatton, N. Dakota; Adelaine Gerlach of International Falls, MN.; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
