Emil - Torquato's Obituary
Emil Torquato was born on November 3, 1910 in Raton, New Mexico to Eugene & Rose Falsetta Torquato.
He died at a Portland hospital on September 11, 2008 at the age of 97.
He lived in California prior to moving to St. Helens in 1934. He was a self-employed television & electronics person owning Radio Service Company, retiring in 1973.
He married Virginia Coverly in Reno, Nevada in 1973.
He was a life member of the Elks and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include: Wife: Virginia Torquato; son Emil; Daughter: Edith; Stepchildren: JoAnn, Mike, Del, Dean, Marvin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the St. Helens Elks Lodge from 1-3.
Private family inurnment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, Oregon.
