Emily D.F. Dewey was born on February 3, 1985 in St. Helens, Oregon to Robert & Penny Skiles Dewey.
She died in an automobile accident in Vanouver, WA. on June 27, 2008 at the age of 23.
She was educated in Scappoose and lived here until moving to Vancouver, WA. 2 years ago.
She worked at a weinerschnitzel restaurant for just 2 weeks. She enjoyed poetry, beadwork, the arts and loved taking care of children.
Survivors include: Mother: Penny Dewey of Vancouver, WA.; Father: Robert Dewey of Scappoose, OR.; Paternal grandmother: Geri Dewey of Longview, WA.; Maternal grandparents: Bill & Carolyn Skiles of Vancouver, WA.; siblings: Desiree Tara Mitchell of Wasilla, Alaska; Brittney Dewey of Vancouver, WA.; 1 niece: Kaydence Mitchell of Wasilla, Alaska; Paternal grandfather: Phil Dewey preceded her in death in 2005.
Celebration of Life: Monday, July 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Helens Elks Lodge.
Private inurnment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
