Enola Earlene Broadbent's Obituary
Enola E. Broadbent was born on July 5, 1943 in Orange Co., California to Earl & Laura Morris Hicks.
She died at a Portland hospital on June 8, 2011 at the age of 67.
Enola attended and graduated from St. Helens High School in 1961. She later attended Portland Community College where she received an Associates Degree in Computer Science, graduating in 1978. She lived her entire life in the St. Helens area.
She worked for US Bank for 33 years in international banking, retiring in July of 2009.
Enola attended St. Helens Christian Church, was a member of the Eastern Star and the Warren Grange Hall.
She made baby blankets, helped tuitor girls to get thier GED's, volunteered for the Oregon Judicial Dept, Columbia County Fair and Megga Easter Egg Hunt and the St. Helens Senior Center.
Survivors include: Mother; Laura Hicks of Phoenix, AZ.; Children: Mike Broadbent Tayna & Brenda Broadbent all of St. Helens; Sisters: Diane Mertens of Phoenix, AZ.; Nancy Merrill of Detroit, MI.; 4 grandchildren.
