Eric showed me how to tie a knot, to line a reel when I was hired as Sporting goods - department manager at BiMart. Some things you can’t learn from a video and Eric had a kind, gentle, patient approach.
He said I applied “Lucky Linda line” and I used that “line” often with others who came to me to line their reels. Rest well Eric I am forever grateful for your human kindness, and warm smile.
An unimaginable loss. Eric was always so sweet and easy going. I remember playing catch with him when he was 10 at McCormick park. And many memorable fishing trips over the years since.. This young man will be sorely missed.
My thoughts go out to his family. He was a great guy and he is going to be miss. I remember him out on the river.
Deepest condolences to Eric's family and friends. The world lost a hell of good fisherman! Eric was always polite, respectful and upbeat. He will be missed!
