Ersyl E. Pease's Obituary
Ersyl E. Pease was born on Janaury 11, 1912 in Gaynes, MI to Elton & Alice Lindley Bentley.
She died at a Scappoose Care Center on March 13, 2004 at the age of 92.
She was raised in Gaynes, MI. In 1930 she married Lester S. Pease and they made their home in Flint, MI., later moving to Dufield, MI. In 1943 they moved to Oregon to be near Lester's dad.
They bought property and a home near Yankton where she lived for 56 years. Lester preceded her in death on April 19, 1973.
She was a homemaker, lovingly raising three children and her life was enriched serving others with christian love.
She is a memer of Columbia River Fourquare Church, AARP, Ladies Auxillary of Veterans of Foreign Wars and a 75 years member of the Yankton Grange. She also enjoyed fellowshipping at the St. Helens and Scappoose Senior Centers.
Survivors include: Children: Robert L. Pease of Maple Valley, WA.; Walter L. Pease of Portland, OR.; Joyce Spilde of Hillsboro, OR.; Sister: Cathryn McLaren of Durand, MI.; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life: Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Columbia River Foursquare Church-Columbia City, OR.
Private Family Committal Service & Vault interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery-St. Helens, OR.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the church building fund.
