Eugene Roy Smith was born on February 15, 1921 in Whitefish, MT. to Roy & Pearl Micho Smith.
He died at his home on February 23, 2007 at the age of 86.
He was educated in Columbia Falls, MT. and went into the service shorty after.
He moved to Portland in the early '50s' and to Scappoose 30 years. ago.
He married Geraldine DeVeito in Vancouver, WA. in 1958.
He worked as a Hyster operator for McCormick & Baxter Lumber Company, retiring 30 years ago.
His enjoyments included hunting, fishing.
Survivors include: Wife: Geraldine Smith; Daughters Valerie Ames & Linda Anderson all of Scappoose; Son: Tony Smith of St. Helens; Sibings: Chester Smith of Portland; Marceline Smith
of ; Betty of Creswell, OR.; Dee Pauline of Colton, OR.; numerous grandchildren.
Viewing & Visitation: 9-5 Wednesday
Funeral service: Thursday, 3/1/07 at 1:00 PM both at Columbia Funeral Home, St. Helens
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose.
