Evelyn Mae Sanders' Obituary
Evelyn Mae Sanders (Vonins) passed away July 4, 2016 at the age of 90 in St. Helens, Oregon.
Evelyn was born on June 7, 1926 in Holland, Michigan to Urs and Inez Vonins. Evelyn was preceded in death by her younger brothers Bob and Mike Vonins, and one grandchild Michelle Kirk.
In 1949 Evelyn married Dar V. Sanders, they were together until his death in 1993.
Evelyn was an avid reader as well as being very involved in her community including starting the PTA in Scappoose, Oregon. She was a member of Sweet Adelines, League of Women Voters, Library Club, Fair Committee, Red Hatters and the Women's Crisis Center.
Evelyn is survived by her children Craten, Dean, Barbara, Allen, and Foster, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
