Fauneil Ann Young passed away in St. Helens, Oregon on February 3, 2016 at the age of 87. Fauneil Young was born September 7, 1928 in Scappoose, to Andrew and Nona (VanDusen) Moses. She had three sisters Datie, Edith and Barbra all of whom she loved dearly.
On January 7, 1946 she married Charles Young in New Mexico. They were married 67 years until his death in June of 2013.
She enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her garden. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years. All of her life she had a great love for her family. She spent most of her time taking care of her nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Fauneil is survived by her son Emmett and his wife Sandy, her sister Barbara Avery, her grandchildren, Ann Susee and Ann’s husband Jerry, Charles Young and Charles’s wife Jennifer, and Brian Perkins. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren; Jentzy, Zach, Hannah, Emily, Sawyer and Noah along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Datie Von Allmen and Edith Colene Moses.
A Funeral for Fauneil Young will be on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon.
