Flora Lee Warde (Tarbell) passed away peacefully on November 30, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.
Flora was born on July 11, 1947 in Portland, Oregon to Charles and Martha Tarbell.
In 1968, she married Donald Warde, they got married in their duplex in Portland, Oregon. They were together for 48 wonderful years. Flora and Donald had two sons together, Donald Warde Jr. and James Warde.
Flora, spent most of her time at home taking care of her kids. The family packed up and moved to Deer Island, where they lived on a goat farm. Eventually Don and Flora settled in St. Helens.
Flora loved taking trips, especially to the beach. When they pulled up to the beach, she would jump out of the car, and head straight for the ocean. Flora also enjoyed fishing for trout, and being on the bowling team “Teddy Bears,” which she was captain of the team. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, and watching Earnhardt race. She loved playing cards, everything from gin rummy to solitaire.
Flora is survived by her husband Donald Warde, her sons Donald Jr. and James Warde. Her sisters Nancy Bemis and Marilyn DelSol and her brother Charles Tarbell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Martha Tarbell, and her sister Jenny Lambert.
